Job Title: Pega Developer

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Long Term Contract

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Pega Developer with 9 12+ years of IT experience and strong expertise in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise applications using the Pega Platform . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Pega PRPC, case management, integrations, and workflow automation in large-scale enterprise environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 9 12+ years of overall IT experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Pega PRPC development.
• Strong experience with Pega Infinity (8.x) or higher.
• Pega CSSA certification is mandatory; CLSA certification is highly preferred.
• Expertise in designing and developing Case Management , BPM , and workflow solutions.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC)
  • Data Pages
  • Activities
  • Decision Tables
  • Flows
  • UI Sections
  • Report Definitions
• Experience developing reusable components and frameworks within Pega.
• Hands-on experience integrating Pega with external systems using:
  • REST APIs
  • SOAP Web Services
  • JSON/XML
• Experience with database technologies such as Oracle or SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pega CLSA certification.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Telecom domains.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is an advantage.
• Experience with production support and deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable Pega applications.
• Build and customize business processes, workflows, and case management solutions.
• Develop integrations with internal and external enterprise systems.
• Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Pega best practices.
• Troubleshoot application issues and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders.
• Support application deployment, enhancements, and production releases.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in Agile ceremonies.
