Job Description

Dental Club Teams is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated, full-time Dental Receptionist to join our thriving dental practice. This position is based at our modern facilities in Tinley Park, ensuring a dynamic work environment focused on exceptional patient care and satisfaction. You will be a crucial member of the team, championing the first and last impressions of every interaction within the clinic.

This opportunity is not a remote role; it requires in-person engagement to manage responsibilities and uphold our service standards effectively. Our dental receptionists play a vital role not only in administrative duties but also in making our patients feel welcome and cared for during what many consider the best dental visit of their lives. If you are driven to exceed expectations and want to make a significant impact in the dental health community, you could be the ideal candidate for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the first and last impression of every patient, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and professional environment.
  • Manage patient calls, appointments, and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Handle scheduling, billing, and administrative tasks seamlessly, adapting to patient needs without the need for escalation.
  • Coach and elevate your team's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance patient experiences.
  • Maintain meticulous records of patient interactions, treatments, and transactions.
  • Lead the enhancement of the patient referral "ask rate" through effective communication and patient relations strategies.
  • Turn nervous or hesitant patients into Dental Club advocates by addressing their concerns with compassion and professionalism.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on the latest dental practices and administrative procedures.
  • Utilize dental software for various administrative tasks, maintaining accuracy and safeguarding patient privacy.
  • Engage with the team to foster an environment of professional growth and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a dental receptionist or similar role, demonstrating a thorough understanding of dental office procedures and patient care.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to manage various administrative tasks simultaneously with high precision and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the capability to initiate process improvements.
  • Commitment to professional development and continual learning within the dental health field.
  • Experience with dental billing software and proficient in office technology relevant to appointment scheduling and recording keeping.
  • A resilient individual who thrives in challenging environments and is not satisfied with "good enough".
  • Empathetic and compassionate nature, with a passion for providing excellent patient care while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Eagerness to contribute positively to our team culture, focusing on accountability, patient satisfaction, and operational excellence.
