Come bake with us! The Bread Room, part of award-winning High Street Hospitality Group, is seeking a Bread Baker with a solid background in the industry. This position will entail learning all three bread baking stations over time; shaping, mixing and baking. The right candidate will be enthusiastic, enjoy working as part of a team, ready to learn, and be available early mornings. Most importantly, we want candidates who love what they do and care about quality ingredients.

Job requirements:

• At least 1-2 years in a professional kitchen or bakery environment
• Basic knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques
• Able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
• Ability to follow established health and safety regulations
• Flexibility of schedule
• Works well on a team
• Able to efficiently multi-task 
• Good organizational skills
• To successfully perform essential job duties, required to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less
• The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills and the ability to follow oral/written instructions and procedures
• Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for bread production as a member of the team.
• Ensure the quality of the goods being used is in accordance with High Street Hospitality Group.
• Maintenance and cleaning of work station/bakery
